We asked Busch Wildlife Sanctuary if they would like to provide a statement. We still haven't received a response at this time.
On Tuesday Big Cat Rescue posted an update page on their website saying that they obtained another bobcat that will enter into their rehabilitation program. The facility that sent them a cat this time around is called Wildlife, Inc. Education & Rehabilitation Center.
